(I'll add some screen shots when I get the time)
This is a super simple guide to help you to very quickly learn how to pay using crypto. No theory or anything else about how it works,
but I do have links at the bottom for that kind of stuff if you are interested. You don't need to understand it to use it.
Why should you pay with crypto? Lots of reasons but a big one is 1) privacy - for both of us. 2) Also, your wallet won't get shut
down for buying adult services like a lot of payment apps do. 3) And I won't lose the 20% that OF, MV and others keep for themselves.
And in this guide I only talk about bitcoin (BTC), ethereum (ETH) and dogecoin (DOGE). They are all I currently use.
---> 1) Choose a wallet. You'll need a crypto wallet. A wallet is just an app that you can download from the Google Play Store or Apple Store for iPhones.
There are a lot of different ones you can choose from. Some options are below (I have all these wallets myself):
Atomic Wallet: Wallet and exchange. Can buy many different coins with a credit card. I like this wallet but I'll admit it seems kind of slow.
Coinbase: Wallet and exchange. More of a pain to set up - will ask for lots of personal information (but I won't be able to see it).
Mycelium: This is a Bitcoin only wallet.
Metamask: This is an Ethereum only wallet, and is commonly used for NFTs. (I might make some NFT's eventually!)
---> 2) Install and set up a wallet. Install a wallet on your phone (some also have desktop options) and set it up.
Each wallet should walk you through setting it up. I have links to some tutorials at the end of this guide.
As part of the set up process you might be asked to do things like choose a password, which is pretty straightforward
and something you're probably familiar with.
But what you probably aren't familiar with is a 'seed phrase'. They are a list of random words you will get to restore your wallet
if you should happen to lose access to it. Be sure to write these words down someplace secure, or keep a record of them in some other way.
---> 3) Buy some coins. Most, if not all, of the wallets listed above will allow you to buy coins with a credit card or bank account.
They may charge some extra fees. It may take a while for the coins to actually appear in your wallet and be available to use.
Just follow their instructions for details. If you are new to crypto you might want to plan to buy some a day or so before you
need them so they are ready when you are.
---> 4) Pay me. This is the really easy part. After we work out what you are going to purchase from me, set the price (you get a
discount for using crypto!), etc. I'll send you my wallet address. A wallet address is just a long string of numbers and
letters and looks like a crazy long password.
You copy the address and paste it into the wallet. There should be a button that says something like 'Pay' or 'Send', click
that and paste the address in it. Within a minute or so I should be able to see the payment starting to go through on my end.
There could be an additional fee when sending. Sometimes you can pay more to make it send faster.
It can take a while for the payment to be completely confirmed, but as soon as I can see it's on its way, we can start playing!
And that's basically it! And trust me it gets much easier after you've done it a few times.

---> Other reasons to pay with crypto:
If you are new to it, this is a good opportunity to get started with crypto. It may be a big thing in the future - learn
how to use it now and you will be way ahead of most of the population!
Some people buy crypto as an investment. Is that a smart thing to do? I have no idea. But if you decide to do it you
first need learn how to use crypto.
Concerned about your gf or wife wondering where you are spending your money? She won't know - you can always say you are
learning how to use it, are investing a little bit, etc. (Not that I want to encourage you to keep secrets but I know some
of you have women in your lives that don't understand or share your kinks, etc.)
